SURARI (the “App”) is an iOS app provided by its developer (the “Developer”). This policy explains how information is handled in the App.
1. Information handled by the App
The App does not collect or transmit personal information. It has no server and requires no account.
The App handles the following information only on your device:
- Head-motion data: The App reads head tilt from motion sensors in compatible headphones such as AirPods. This data is processed immediately to evaluate posture. Raw motion data is not stored.
- iPhone motion activity: The App distinguishes between stationary, walking, running, and in-vehicle activity so it can reduce sensitivity or pause detection when appropriate. This information is processed on the device and is not stored.
- Posture history: The App stores time in good posture, time spent looking down, and reminder counts by day on your device.
- Settings: The App stores your detection angle, reminder delay, goals, and notification preferences on your device.
This information remains on your device and is not sent to the Developer or any third party.
2. How information is used
- To detect forward head tilt and provide reminders
- To show daily good-posture rates and progress over time
- To retain the settings you choose
3. Sharing with third parties
The App does not provide your information to third parties. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
4. Device features and permissions
- Motion & Fitness: Used for headphone motion sensing and activity classification.
- Notifications: Used to provide posture reminders while the screen is off.
- Background audio: Used to continue a session while you play an ambient sound selected in the App.
You can disable these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Deleting your data
Uninstalling the App deletes its posture records and settings stored on your device.
